Well I did it!!! I took my merchandise in to the shop on Wednesday, (first order from Aaron) had it laid out on seating bench in my velvet roll up carrier getting ready to price. I had my invoice in my hands checking prices against pictures when one of the salon customers walked up and asked if she could take a peek. I kept my joy under control, did not start jumping up and down hollering--OH YES, PLEASE LOOK ALL YOU WANT AND PLEASE, PLEASE BUY ALL YOU WANT TOO!! I very politely smiled at her and said " Sure, I'd be happy to show you what I have". I went on to explain all about the merchandise, where it was made. what it was made of, etc., etc. She was really impressed with everything she saw and started thinking Christmas. Well, she picked up a pendent (I had chains on all pendents) and asked me the price. Like I said earlier, I had my invoice with me so I was able to look it up real quick like. I first doubled the price (in my head) and decided
that it was really too low so I tripled it and brazenly told her before I could chicken out. She smiled and said "OK. I'll take it and I also would like the price of this and this and this and this and this. Well, I tripled the price of everything she was interested in and she bought all of it and paid me with a smile on her face and asked me to please order the earrings to go with one of the pendents she purchased. Needless to say I was one happy lady!! Now to top it off, after telling my husband about this he is finally seeing things my way and is going with me this weekend and he is buying me a lighted glass display case that locks. Life is good! As usual, before I could even get the earings displayd in the shop, my girlfriend started to look through them and declared she wanted the lot, she was very impressed with the earrings ( as am I). No sooner did I manage to start displaying it than the first two pairs were sold, and that was without the customer even knowing the price, they just wanted them regardless.
You may find that I am one of your more unusual customers. I actually own a petfood store, but as a hobby have made silver chains and jewellery for a few years, customers have asked for items to be made for them hence I put up a small display in the store, I then found your site and seeing the prices deciided to run some bought in goods alongside my items. The markup I can put on yours means I will certainly be coming back for more, the earrings are very different and very eyecathing.
Can I also compliment you on the catalogue feature on your website, I have an idea to market your items in a slightly different way and the ability to print of a catalouge is an excellent idea. The pictures on the orderr confirmation email are alos a very thoughtful idea.

Well I just finished one month at a Farmers Market. I couldn't believe it but I did extremely well thanks to the Wholesale Gem Shop. Even though the shopping only covered 4 hours on a Saturday morning I made at least 50.00 and hour and all my rings are gone that I had ordered from here. So last Saturday it was hot and I thought well I am just going to put on a few of these bracelets. I stacked the crystal, hematite and the blue ones so I had six on my arm. Boom they were gone I hadn't had them out on display. I was trying to save something for next month. One girl saw the bracelets and came over and bought six herself moral of the story is buy more than you think you are going to need.
