RSS Readers – Why?!
RSS can be very confusing! But it really is not that complicated. RSS is a meas of getting syndicated information from multiple sources all in one place. For example if you have 5 friends with blogs, you can easily check for updates to ALL their blogs in an instant using an RSS Reader. You can also add feeds to suppliers such as wholesalegemshop.com so whenever we run a special or get new products you will be automatically notified via RSS.
The RSS Reader aggregates the most recent blog entries into an easy to view format which you can look at from your MySpace page, Yahoo Homepage, or practically any other major homepage or social network service.
Often times you will see a RSS icon on a website. To add an “RSS FEED” to your particular RSS Reader (see list below) all you need is the URL (web address) that you get from clicking the icon.
My recommendation for a RSS Reader is News Gator (PC LINK). The thing that sets News Gator apart from the competition is that it is SIMPLE! And it resides on your Desktop. So you do not have to check your yahoo or google homepage or login to another site to see all your feeds. To me this is a no-brainer! You want access to all your feeds on your desktop so you can see all the new info right away.
We have a very simple way you can add our RSS feed, and in fact when with this link you can quickly get an RSS reader if you do not have one already. You can get News Gator, or any other you choose. And if you already have a Reader you can use that one.
