We Can Make a Difference for Theese 3 Kids …
10% To Charity All Day Friday & Saturday!
… With your help. Three years ago, I was matched with three needy children in Nepal (by Edwon): Prabin, Dipesh & Saraswati. With a very modest donation they were able to go to school for the first time. Three years later they are thriving! But they still face many challenges and it will be dificult for me continue to support them alone. You can help by donating $5, $10, $25 when you place your next order. In addition I will donate 10% of your order value on Friday & Sat. (July 30-31) to this cause if you write HELPKIDS in the comments section when you checkout.

This is Prabin getting his scholarship to go to school.
Without our help these kids may lose out. The next time you place an order, please consider
adding a $5, $10 or $25 donation, which you can do on this page. . The sponsorship costs $125/ year and is a three year commitment. So I am confident we can do this together. I will update the blog on Sunday to indicate how much we have raised.
Below is a note from Prabin. H
e is around 13 years old and has a disability. He was discriminated against in his village and treated poorly because of his caste and disability in the past, but because of Edwon this has changed.
Hello, I am Prabin Kisan From Baglung, Nepal. I study in grade 4. My school’s name is Shree Mulpani Secondary school. I am 11 years now. My mother’s name is Bijula and sister’s name is Sabitra. My elder sis got married last year. So, we are three in the family. My mother carries load to earn money. I feel sad to see her carrying load. We have no land to grow crops. My father left home to go to India many years ago. Whereabouts of my father is still unknown. We are living a sad life. But I am studying well and want to study up to the highest degree. I also get little support from Municipality for my study. I am very happy with your support.
Namaste(Greetings)Prabin

The other two children I have been supporting are Dipesh and Saraswati. Their mother left them and they are being rasied by their father. Here is a report about them from Edwon:
Dipesh and Saraswati live in Kathmandu with their father who is a tailor. He has been devoted to getting them the best education and has been able to send them to English speaking school with your support. It is assumed that he would need to send them to govt. school without the support – although private school costs far more than the $125 per student that you have been sending. The children are thriving, as you can see from saraswati’s letter. If you are unable to continue their support, I will make it a priority to find new sponsors and until that time EDWON will absorb their sponsorship (the treasurer did in fact send their sponsorship money in March for 2010 school year).

If you would like to donate but do not need to place an order this time, I will see that 100% of the donation gets to the kids as soon as possible.
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Aaron
