Free Advertising for your Jewelry Business
We are launching a new feature on the site very shortly to promote our customers.
There are two main factors that come into play here:
1) A few times a week I get inquiries from people wanting to buy jewelry as gifts or for themselves. I don’t do retail so I turn them away.
2) At this point in time 50-70% of my customers have their own websites. It has taken me 10 years but I finally sortof know what I am doing in terms of promoting my site. One of the best ways for a young site to get noticed in the search engines is to have incoming links from other established/ relevant sites.
The new feature is a google map integrated with my database and software which shows the locations of my customers throughout the world. With a few clicks, for example, a browser can locate a retailer near their city. The information displayed about your business is up to you. Minimally it will display your website, zipcode and phone number and business name. If you choose, your address (you can change from your billing address on file) will also be shown.
When this is setup I will refer retail customers to this map and they will hopefully contact you to make a purchase. I may even do some special marketing on my other sites with this map to increase traffic to my customers sites. Keep in mind you may or may not generate some sales this way, but it cannot hurt and will definately help your search engine ranking if you have a website.
This does NOT happen automatically! I always take privacy into account, so you will need to OPT-IN to this feature. You will only be included in the map if you choose to share your profile. To activate your profile on the map, login to your account on our website. Then go to Update Profile. At the bottom of this page it’s all explained. The map will be live on the site in a few days. Ok, now let me toot my own horn a little because I guess to stay in business you have to do that once in a while. I spent $350 and 10 hours of my time to setup this feature on the site and its benefit to my business directly is dubious at best. It’s little actions like this that I hope demonstrate to you how much I appreciate your business and will do everything I can think of to help you succeed

I am one person here in CT, and I ordered a few items from Ebay at what I thought was a good price. I started thinking of what the wholesale prices were. I got ahold of some catalogs and was astonished at the markup! I decided (with some friends help) to take the plunge. I don’t want to do Silpada parties, the company is expensive and not much profit. I am looking for wholesalers and contacted a few in China at el, looks like junk. When I am ready to get started (taking out money against my 401K to get seed money) I will be in touch. What a wonderful website!
