Closeouts – Get them while they last!
April 12, 2012 – 11:20 am
Go to our closeouts page to see some lovely one of a kind jewelry at 10-20% off. I am taking orders on this jewelry only for a couple more days or until I run out.

Hello , I had just read a report that you had written on dropshipping and I am here to say you are wrong. If you put work into it, make calls and send emails to the manufacturers of the products that you wish to sell, you will find a worthy supplier. I don’t mean to sound like I know all but how did you come to the conclusion that dropshipping is no good. In fact I know of quite a few people who have become quite comfortable with it and the living they make from it. Dropshipping (if, in fact, you do find the right suppliers) has given people, who could not otherwise go into business for themselves due to lack of funds, the opportunity to open up webstores, sell on ebay and so-forth, so that they can become a successful business owner. One of the only ways for dropshipping to be a bad thing, would be the suppliers themselves. You say you don’t offer dropshipping? Why, are you not confident in your company or your distributors, if you have them? I understand that we all have our right to our opinions but to mislead people who would need this to startup, is wrong. Are you sure the article that you wrote wasn’t a ply to help benefit you more than the people reading it? Anyways, thank you to my many suppliers who have helped me in my quest for a better future.

Yes, I do in fact believe that drop shipping is a completely flawed business model. Whether or not there are a small % of success stories is irrelevant. In the end this is an absolutely horrible model for the customer. And if its bad for the customer, in the end, it’s going to be bad for the entire supply chain, except perhaps for the guy at the top. It is also a dumb way for a wholesaler like me to do business – why would I want to let hundreds of random dropshippers list 1000′s of my products on their website with no investment and no risk of their own? It completely devalues the product – have you ever heard of supply and demand? And what does this say about how I value my real customers who pay for their jewelry and put int in their stores or website? No way am I going to give some dropshipper WHO WANTS TO ASSUME NO RISK a competitive advantage against my hardworking retailers.
